RARE CHINESE DAGGERS
Anyone that has collected Chinese military daggers is familiar with the more common varieties of army daggers, even though the variations are almost of infinite number. However, there are a number of other Chinese Nationalist daggers that are very rare. In this issue we will cover as many of these rare daggers as possible.
The first one is the Military Inspector General's dress dagger.
Some of them have a wooden rather than metal scabbard.

Here is a recently discovered variation of the Inspector General's dagger with a white rayskin covered handle instead of the usual tortoise shell covering.

This is an extremely rare Nationalist Civil Administration dress dagger. This is one of the rarest of all Nationalist Chinese daggers.

Chinese Nationalist Naval daggers are another very rare type.

This model has longer quillions.

This is a Qing Dynasty Maritime Customs Officer's dagger. It is so rare that only one copy is known.
